Regional projects to improve wildfire resilience. The funds appropriated in this item shall be available for regional projects to improve local fire prevention capacity, improve forest health and resilience, and reduce the risk of wildfire spreading into populated areas from wildlands pursuant to subdivision (b) of Section 91520 of the Public Resources Code and shall be available for encumbrance or expenditure until June 30, 2028, and for liquidation until June 30, 2031.
