Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Grant Readiness System and any related digital products offered by JS Grants & Compliance Consulting LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at app.jsgrantconsulting.com. By accessing this site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Offered

We provide grant compliance diagnostic tools, including:

  • Grant Readiness Assessment (free): Up to 31 questions that produces a readiness score, tier classification, and gap summary. No account is required. Results are provided for planning purposes only.
  • Full Grant Readiness Report ($19): A detailed PDF report delivered by email, including a complete compliance gap analysis, evidence binder naming system, and priority remediation roadmap tailored to your assessment responses.
  • Subscription Platform Access: Paid monthly or annual access to grant matching, compliance tracking tools, and resource library.

2. Digital Products: No Refund Policy

The Full Grant Readiness Report and all other paid products on this site are digital goods delivered electronically. Because digital products are immediately accessible upon delivery, all sales are final, subject to the Satisfaction Guarantee described below.

  • No refunds will be issued after the report has been generated and the download link has been sent to your email address, except as provided under the Satisfaction Guarantee.
  • If you did not receive your report within 30 minutes of purchase, contact us at juansanchez@jsgrantconsulting.com and we will resend it or investigate delivery failure. Delivery issues are not a basis for chargebacks.
  • If a technical error on our end prevented delivery, we will either re-deliver the report or issue a full refund at our discretion.

By clicking “Get Full Report ($19)” and completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read this no-refund policy and consent to immediate delivery of your digital product.

2a. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the diagnostic value of the Full Grant Readiness Report. If your report does not identify at least three (3) actionable compliance gaps based on the assessment answers you submitted, you may request a full refund of your $19 purchase price under the following conditions:

  • Eligibility: The guarantee applies only to the Full Grant Readiness Report ($19). It does not apply to subscription fees or consulting services.
  • Request window: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of your purchase date by emailing juansanchez@jsgrantconsulting.com with the subject line “Satisfaction Guarantee Request” and your order confirmation number.
  • Review process: We will review the report generated from your submitted answers within 3 business days. If we confirm that fewer than three actionable compliance gaps were identified based on your responses, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Basis for review: The review is based solely on the answers you submitted during the assessment. Refund requests based on disagreement with the diagnostic methodology, scoring algorithm, or federal compliance framework interpretations are not covered by this guarantee.
  • One request per purchaser: The Satisfaction Guarantee may be invoked once per email address and once per order. It may not be combined with other discounts, credits, or promotions.
  • Good-faith requirement: Refund requests made after downloading or using the report content in organizational planning, grant applications, or compliance documentation are not eligible, as the product has been materially used.

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify this guarantee at any time for future purchases. The guarantee terms in effect at the time of your purchase apply to your order.

3. Included Starter Trial: Terms & Recurring Billing Authorization

When you purchase the Full Grant Readiness Report for $19, a 90-day Starter trial is automatically activated on your account under the following terms:

  • Duration: The trial provides 90 days of Starter platform access from the time of your report purchase.
  • Included features: Grant matching, compliance tracking tools, and resource library access for the duration of the trial.
  • Conversion: Unless you cancel before trial end, your saved payment method will be charged for the applicable Starter monthly subscription at the end of the trial. Standard Starter pricing is $59/month. If you qualify for founding member pricing, the lower founding-member monthly rate applies while that status remains active on your subscription.
  • Saved payment method: By completing checkout, you authorize us and Stripe to store the payment method used for your $19 purchase and reuse it for the Starter subscription renewal after the trial unless you cancel first.
  • Non-transferable: Trial access is tied to the account used at purchase and cannot be transferred to another user or account.
  • No cash value: Trial access cannot be exchanged for cash or applied as a refund to a prior purchase.
  • One per account: Only one trial may be activated per account.

You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid renewal. We are not responsible for trial access that expires due to account inaction or account-access issues.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or banking information. Your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe via encrypted connection and are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Charges to your payment method will appear as JSGCC or a similar descriptor on your statement. If you do not recognize a charge, contact us at juansanchez@jsgrantconsulting.com before filing a dispute with your bank. Initiating a chargeback for a successfully delivered digital product may result in suspension of your account and referral to Stripe's dispute process.

5. Email & Data Use

When you provide your email address for report delivery or follow-up:

  • Your email is used to deliver your purchased report and any transactional communications related to your purchase (receipts, credit notifications).
  • If you separately consented to follow-up communications during the assessment, your email may also be used to send compliance guidance relevant to your results.
  • We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • You may unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use assessment results or purchased reports for resale or redistribution without written permission.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from this platform in bulk.
  • Submit false or misleading assessment responses to manipulate results.
  • Use the platform in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

The founder of JS Grants & Compliance Consulting LLC is a current public employee. You may not use this platform to initiate or support a compensated relationship with any officer, employee, agent, or appointee of the founder's current or former public employer acting in an official or otherwise restricted capacity, or any engagement that would create an actual or apparent conflict of interest under applicable government ethics policies or law.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Grant Readiness System and all associated reports are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty, express or implied, that:

  • Assessment results will ensure grant approval or compliance with any specific program.
  • Reports are error-free or complete for all applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Use of the tool or its recommendations will prevent audit findings.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JS Grants & Compliance Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this platform, including lost grants, audit penalties, or reliance on report content.

Our total liability for any claim related to a paid product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product.

8. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute or chargeback, you agree to contact us at juansanchez@jsgrantconsulting.com and allow us 5 business days to resolve the issue. We are committed to resolving delivery problems quickly.

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to personal jurisdiction in California for the resolution of any such dispute.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Continued use of this platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
